- The forum has this funny preset, 64kb maximum file size for avatars. That's specific to direct uploads, though. If you upload your desired avatar image to a web host like imgur and then use the "Upload from URL" feature in your avatar settings you can use any image you like as long as it's still withing 150x150px in dimensions.
